How your allowance works.

Monthly prices. Paid allowances reset on your billing date.

Streams means broadcasts running at the same time. Sending one program to YouTube and Facebook counts as two streams. Stream counts shown are for HD at 30 fps; your selected quality and plan limits determine available capacity.

Saved destinations are channels or RTMP destinations stored for reuse. Destinations per program is how many you can add to one program. Your total stream limit still applies when broadcasting.

Lite includes 1 hour and Starter includes 3 hours of HD preparation each month. Creator and Studio include larger allowances. Extra one-hour packs are available in Studio for $3 USD or ₹300 INR using your plan’s payment provider. Preparation usage depends on video resolution and frame rate. Reusing a ready video uses no preparation credits. Streaming and media downloads count towards your outgoing data allowance.

No automatic overage charges. Streaming pauses at an allowance limit.

Lite is the monthly entry plan for one RTMP destination you choose at 720p, up to four hours per UTC day. See each plan card for current prices and preparation allowances. Your uploaded files remain available for seven days after paid access ends. Your account is preserved.

A FEW THINGS, CLEARED UP

Before your next broadcast.

Straight answers to the questions behind your plan choice.

Still deciding? Talk to us
Which plan fits my workflow?

Lite suits occasional broadcasts to one destination at 720p, with one-video looping and up to four hours of streaming per UTC day. Starter suits one regular broadcast with more storage and up to 1080p at 30 fps. Creator and Studio add multi-video playlists and capacity for more outputs. Use the comparison above for current prices, quality and allowances; confirm the details in Studio before checkout.

Does my computer need to stay on?

No. Once your media has finished importing or uploading, is ready to stream, and your program is running in the cloud, your computer does not need to stay on. Finish transfers before disconnecting. Broadcasts still depend on your active plan, remaining allowances and the destination platform.

Can I stream prerecorded videos from Google Drive or my device?

Yes. Import media from Google Drive or upload it from your device into your private library, prepare it if needed, then choose it for a program. You can loop a video or schedule a broadcast. Multi-video playlists are available on Creator and Studio; Lite and Starter support one-video looping. Only upload and broadcast media you have the rights to use.

Which video files and settings should I use?

Device uploads accept MP4, MKV, WebM and MOV containers. H.264 video with AAC audio in an MP4 is a practical preparation target. Use the Media Library check to see whether a file can stream directly or needs preparation for your chosen profile. For a 1080p broadcast, 1080p at 30 fps is a useful starting point when your plan supports it; Lite is limited to 720p at 30 fps. File compatibility, output resolution and frame rate must all fit the selected plan and profile.

Which platforms can I stream to, and can I multistream?

Use a supported RTMP or RTMPS destination with its server URL and stream key. Your account there must be eligible for live streaming and external encoder access, and its rules apply. Lite and Starter support one destination per program. Creator and Studio support multiple destinations, within both the per-program and total concurrent output limits shown above. Each destination uses output capacity and outgoing data; saving more destinations does not increase simultaneous streaming capacity. Manual RTMP to YouTube Live is available for eligible accounts.

Can I stream all day, and what happens at a limit?

Lite is limited to four hours per UTC day. Longer broadcasts on other plans must stay within their resource allowances; continuous streaming is not unlimited. Monthly paid allowances reset on your billing date. Each live output and media download counts toward outgoing data, and concurrent output, storage and preparation limits also apply. Usage pauses at an allowance limit without automatic overage charges.

Can I schedule broadcasts and repeat them?

Yes. Choose a saved program and set a start time, an optional end time, and a once, daily or weekly repeat. Repeating schedules require an end time and must finish before the next occurrence. Enter times in your device’s local time; repeats use fixed 24-hour or seven-day UTC intervals, so review them when daylight-saving time changes. A once-only schedule can run without an automatic end, subject to plan access, allowances and destination availability.

Are video preparation credits the same as streaming hours?

No. Preparation credits cover making source videos ready for streaming and scale with resolution and frame rate; encoding runtime has its own cap. Compatible files can stream directly, and reusing a ready video uses no additional preparation credits. Streaming still counts toward your other allowances. Optional conversion packs are separate one-time purchases with their own validity; they do not increase storage, streaming quality or outgoing data allowances.

What happens if a broadcast disconnects?

DriveStream Pro can attempt recovery for recoverable interruptions. Retries use backoff and may enter a cooldown; authentication problems, ended events, incompatible media or exhausted access and allowances can require attention or stop a broadcast. Recovery time and uninterrupted delivery are not guaranteed. Check the program status in Control Room and confirm the live output on the destination platform.

How is this different from using OBS on my computer?

OBS is a desktop production tool for combining sources such as cameras, screens and audio and sending a stream from the machine running it. DriveStream Pro runs saved prerecorded programs in the cloud after their media is ready. Your device still needs an internet connection to upload files and manage the setup, and uploads use bandwidth. Choose according to whether you need desktop live production or cloud playback of a prepared library; both depend on their networks and destination platforms.

Can I upload a Google Drive video directly to YouTube?

Direct YouTube account connection and uploading recorded library videos to YouTube are coming soon while Google verification is pending. This is separate from the currently available livestream workflow: import from Google Drive or upload from your device, prepare the video if needed, then send live output with a manual RTMP URL and stream key for an eligible destination account.

How do billing, cancellation and refunds work?

Creating an account does not by itself activate streaming access. Choose a paid plan to start streaming. Plans are recurring subscriptions billed for the term selected at checkout. Current prices, taxes and renewal terms are shown before payment. Manage or cancel your subscription through the available billing controls; cancellation timing depends on the payment provider and your current term. Refund requests are reviewed against the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Contact support with your transaction reference for billing help. Uploaded media remains available for seven days after paid access ends, and your account is preserved.
